Sacramento Developer Collective is proud to announce the theme for our inaugural Capital Creative Showcase event. This year's theme will be "Women in Games" and will feature some of the regions hard working women in the video game or creative industry.
We've assembled a variety of speakers, panels, and discussion topics to celebrate all women in the industry, reflect on the challenges of being a woman in a game related occupation, and to hear the stories and advice of the successful women we've assembled for our themed events.
If you are a woman, young or old, who loves video games and would like to know what it's like to develop a game, play them competitively, or talk about them while streaming on Youtube or Twitch, you'll find our program valuable and filled with information to help you pursue your dream. If you have questions, are unsure if this is the field for you, or just want to hear from other women who have broken the mold and made their own place in the industry, then don't miss this opportunity.
Our theme this year isn't just for women, but for everyone who is working in, or interested in the video game industry, or just simply loves to play games. Men will find their stories and advice as valuable as the women do, and listening to a woman's perspective, and understanding their position may just be enlightening.
Help us celebrate women in games this year at Capital Creative Showcase, September 7th, 2019 at the West Sacramento Community Center. Get your tickets now while they last, and we'll see you at the show.
Early-bird tickets are on sale until June 30th for $5 off the general admission price. There is a limited supply, so get your discounted tickets now before they're all gone!
